Collaborative Robot Specialized for Welding

OPTi Series

OPTi is NeuroMeka's newly developed collaborative robot, designed specifically for welding applications, incorporating extensive field expertise. It is a welding-specialized collaborative robot with a payload capacity of 5 kg.

NeuroMeka’s advanced collaborative robot software technology, including sensorless collision detection algorithms, impedance control, and direct teaching, is fully integrated into OPTi. Unlike conventional six-axis robots, its optimized joint arrangement allows for more precise vertical movements of the robot arm’s end, making it particularly suited for vertical welding tasks compared to standard collaborative robots.

Furthermore, by redesigning the robot’s links, OPTi maintains the same reach as previous models while achieving a lighter weight. This lightweight design enhances not only welding operations but also enables automation in broader fields, such as food technology and factory automation. OPTi represents NeuroMeka’s latest innovation in collaborative robotics, expanding its potential applications across various industries.
